Are You Passionate About Challenges?

• You will manage, administer, and develop the storage infrastructure, including NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, Clustered ONTAP), Ceph storage clusters, and object storage solutions (e.g., S3-compatible).
• You will analyze, classify, and resolve system malfunctions and performance issues, supporting the assurance of high availability, data security, and compliance.
• You will optimize and automate existing technologies and processes, among others, with Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Global cooperation in the service area as a technical contact for internal specialist departments as well as national and international customers is also part of your duties.
• You will develop new concepts and technologies in the storage area – from the idea to the successful implementation (capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization).
• After appropriate training and experience, you will support the planning, management, and realization of technical projects and requirements.

• You have experience in the administration of IT system landscapes, ideally with a focus on storage systems (file, block, object).
• You have a completed IT education, an IT degree, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you already have experience in scripting (e.g., Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both written and verbally.
• You have the appropriate readiness for shift work.
• An independent working style as well as team capability and analytical skills characterize you.
• This position includes security-relevant activities. A security check in accordance with the Security Check Act (Level Ü2) is required. The suitability for the security check will be tested as part of the selection procedure. For this purpose, you must disclose your nationalities and certain connections abroad in accordance with Section 13 of the Security Check Act.
