We are in search of a Software Developer Junior to join our LATAM applications team at NTT DATA. You will develop high-impact corporate applications that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency for the company.

Here, you will work in a high-code environment with our stack (Next.js, React, Node, NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB), creating solutions that generate measurable savings, optimize processes, and support the expansion of NTT DATA in Latin America and, in the future, in Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing internal applications that support digital transformation and operational efficiency, following product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Writing and testing high-quality code using Next.js, React, Node, NestJS, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Performing unit and automated tests in line with the team's quality objectives.
• Participating in software deployment and integration activities, following guidelines from product owners, architects, and senior developers.
• Delivering application components in close collaboration with product and business teams.
• Supporting the automation of processes and the integration of corporate systems through code and APIs.
• Building, monitoring, and debugging scalable applications deployed in cloud environments, following detailed instructions.
• Writing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Refactoring code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Participating in code reviews, learning from feedback, and contributing to team best practices.
• Exploring and applying AI/ML resources (such as predictive models, LLMs, and process automation) to application improvements.

What we expect you to have:

• Growth-mindset, curiosity to learn quickly, ownership of deliverables, ability to collaborate with multicultural teams, and a focus on generating real impact for our people.
• Basic experience in software engineering or development (academic projects, internships, or professional experience).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems. Experience (even basic) in agile environments or project management.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of React and/or Next.js for front-end.
• Experience in Node.js and/or NestJS for back-end.
• Notions of MongoDB or similar databases.

Differentials:

• Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
• Experience with Azure: Web Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring: OpenTelemetry, New Relic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, or cloud-native architectures.
• Interest in AI and automation for corporate applications.
