Join us as our new Service Delivery Manager. As our new Service Delivery Manager, you'll join the System Service Delivery team within Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) in IT. This role is a combination of Service Delivery Manager and Application Manager, where your primary focus will be on service delivery governance and process development. In addition, you will act as Application Manager for selected applications in areas where we rely on external partners for technical expertise due to the absence of internal technical resources.

Our System Service Delivery team is structured into two key focus areas: Service Delivery Management and Tech & Solutions. The Service Delivery Management function focuses on governance, stakeholder alignment, and ensuring smooth handovers from projects to operations, while Tech & Solutions provides technical expertise, hands-on support, and daily operations for critical enterprise applications. Together, we ensure the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of non-SAP enterprise business applications, such as HR systems, ERP tools, and specialized platforms like LIMS and Planview.

Through our IT Engagement Model, which consists of five distinct service models, we provide structured support for different levels of business needs. Your contributions will support both governance and operational excellence, particularly in the context of ongoing merger activities as we unify processes and applications following the merger of Chr. Hansen and Novozymes into Novonesis.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Developing Service Delivery Frameworks: Collaborate with the System Service Delivery team to design and refine scalable frameworks and governance processes that align IT services with business needs. Ensure clarity around roles, responsibilities, and service agreements.
  • Managing Applications: Take responsibility as Application Manager for selected applications, such as Planview (CAPEX platform), focusing on areas where internal technical resources are not available, and external partners provide the necessary expertise. Ensure stable operations and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring Smooth Project Transitions: Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define and implement operating models for new applications. Ensure a seamless transition from projects to operations, e.g., for the LIMS implementation.
  • Supporting Merger Activities: Contribute to initiatives aimed at unifying or implementing joint applications to align systems and processes across Novonesis, ensuring continuity and efficiency during the post-merger integration phase.
  • Providing Governance and Support: Contribute to compliance, auditing, and reporting tasks related to assigned applications. Act as a resource for broader team initiatives, supporting colleagues as needed to balance workloads.

Potentially relevant experience:

  • M.Sc./B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT Service Delivery Management, ideally involving Application Management and enterprise business applications.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL (preferred).
  • Strong ability to balance daily service operations with strategic process development.
  • Experience working in merger or transformation contexts is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and adaptability to navigate a dynamic, evolving environment.
