Welcome to the technical services team!

You will join the technical services team of the Arpajon plant, ensuring the interface between local operational teams (production and maintenance, QHSE) and global engineering and IT/OT teams.

Every day, you will work in tandem with our ABB specialist and eventually become their back-up on the site's control-command system.

Position based in Arpajon (91) south of Paris

As an OT Engineer, you will be the OT site reference, at the heart of automation, industrial infrastructure, and cyber security issues.

You will locally pilot the deployment of the group's OT Security program and ensure the proper functioning of the OT infrastructures and the plant's control-command systems, directly contributing to performance, security, and production continuity.

In this role, you will have an impact in:

• Securing the site's OT systems by applying group standards.
• Ensuring the availability and resilience of the plant's control-command systems and associated OT infrastructures.
• Preparing the site for future industrial cyber security challenges.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating, maintaining, and evolving the site's OT infrastructures and systems (servers, operator stations, networks, Active Directory environments, remote access, etc.).
• Managing industrial interfaces and protocols (OPC UA, etc.) and data historizing tools related to the process.
• Leading the deployment and implementation of IT/OT cyber security initiatives at the site level (network segmentation, firewalls, supervision, access management, backup/restore, incident response plans, etc.).
• Supporting the ABB specialist in maintaining the operational conditions of the control-command system (diagnosis and resolution of incidents, modifications, participation in projects, etc.).

To succeed, you must possess:

• An engineering degree (automation, electrical/electronics, industrial IT, or similar) or an experienced automatician technician.
• Proven experience (ideally ≥ 5 years) in industrial automation/control-command in a process environment (chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar).
• Significant experience in similar IT/OT functions.
• Experience in project management.
• Skills in industrial networks and good OT cybersecurity practices; knowledge of standards such as IEC 62443 would be a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, etc.), historians, and ideally ABB systems (800xA, AC450, AC800M); if not, strong motivation to learn.
• Fluent French; professional and technical English to interact with global teams and suppliers.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving orientation; ability to work and communicate across departments; driven by change, eager to develop in a rapidly evolving environment.
