Main tasks:

  • Receiving, processing, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all domestic and intercompany orders.
  • Coordinating with warehouse and supply teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Managing all paperwork and regulatory processes for import and export, including applications to the Ministry of Agriculture and customs coordination.
  • Planning intercompany purchases based on local sales forecasts and ensuring proper freight arrangements.
  • Monitoring product availability and managing backorders.
  • Handling customer complaints and proactively resolving order and delivery-related issues.

Other tasks:

  • Preparing and submitting import applications.
  • Following up on regulatory changes or new requirements affecting food imports
  • Engaging with customs brokers or freight forwarders to resolve unexpected issues that delay imports or exports.
  • Support export operations if needed.

Key stakeholders:

Will work with Sales, Finance, Warehouse & Logistic, Procurement/Planning, Regulatory and Quality teams as internal stakeholders, Customers, Suppliers, Customs brokers, Freight Forwarders, Government Authorities as External Stakeholders.

This employee acts as a key coordinator across departments and organizations, ensuring seamless flow of goods and information. Daily communication is often via email, phone, and internal systems, while more complex issues may require meetings or collaborative problem-solving with both internal teams and external partners.

Industrial/Technical Background:

1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer operations, preferably in the food industry, FMCG, or manufacturing sector with import/export operations.

Expected Educational Background & Years of Experience From a Similar Position:

Relevant educational backgrounds:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant professional skills:

  • Solid knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance processes, and intercompany logistics.
  • Familiarity with foreign trade legislation, particularly in the food sector such as import permits).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems SAP for order management, inventory tracking, and intercompany transactions.

Years of relevant experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience

Language requirements and proficiency level:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Personal/Behavioral Skills:

  • Able to troubleshoot delivery, customs, or order issues efficiently, often under time pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environments.
  • Ability to manage timelines, forecast needs, and coordinate across departments and external partners for smooth operations.
