We are excited to announce the establishment of a new clinical production facility in Slovenia, dedicated to the faster discovery of innovative medicines for patients worldwide. The state-of-the-art facility located in Biocampus in Mengeš offers an exceptional opportunity for collaboration, innovation, and impact. As a Specialist Engineering, you will be responsible for supporting the control and execution of maintenance procedures in accordance with engineering standards, which includes maintenance work, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems, and infrastructure. You will provide support for the implementation of startup and qualification activities for smaller projects on site and for product changeovers. Your task will be to manage documentation, spare parts, and materials and to perform and document maintenance in accordance with plans, work instructions, and tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and supporting maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Equipment maintenance: ensuring the availability of spare parts, regular maintenance and inspection of production equipment to ensure a smooth production process, prevent breakdowns, and ensure the long life of equipment in accordance with quality standards.
  • Documentation: managing documentation, changes, and deviations in accordance with the GMP standard.
  • Preparation of operational technical documentation (e.g. maintenance instructions, plans, operation sheets).
  • Maintenance of accurate data in CMMS (e.g. VIS/SAP PM, SAP MM).
  • MROM (Maintenance Repair Operational Management), management of maintenance materials, material specifications, and opening of tags.
  • Collaboration in internal and external quality assurance system assessments and defending MROM activities.
  • Acquisition of spare parts for maintenance, creation of purchase order requests, order tracking, and communication with suppliers.

Your contribution to the job:

  • Secondary education in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, or other relevant fields).
  • Minimum three years of experience in maintenance.
  • Desired basic knowledge of English and knowledge of the local language.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

We offer a temporary position with a six-month probationary period.
