Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute capex projects: budget and schedule across departments.
- Become subject matter expert for the inspection, packaging, and material handling within the site.
- Initiate the project, develop the business case together with the stakeholders.
- Reach out to suppliers, order equipment, perform design reviews and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning testing to get the new equipment up & running within the agreed timelines.
- Develop project execution strategy and execute investment projects according to customer needs (costs, schedule, functionality, quality).
- Develops project cost estimates and performs Value Improvement Reviews to support investment decisions.
- Prepares project quality and procurement plans and leads tendering processes.
- Executes Health, Safety, and Environment activities, including safety stops and risk assessments.
- Leads installations, testing, FAT/SAT activities, and commissioning within projects.
- Manages project changes, deviations, and technical troubleshooting during qualification activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Experience planning and executing technical investment projects within a production environment.
- Ability to develop and assess technical specifications, user requirements, and functional requirements.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, and external partners in a project context.
- Proficiency in developing and executing qualifications and test protocols within technical projects.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc.) or equivalent
Desirable Requirements:
- 3 years of engineering experience thereof 2 in investment projects, ideally in pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with inspection, packaging, or material-handling systems in a pharmaceutical or similar environment.
- Solid skills in risk assessment and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Ability to apply digital tools and data analysis to support decision-making in projects.
