Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to be responsible for developing and implementing design, operation, and maintenance of automation systems in projects and site operations.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Offering support during internal and external audits.
  • Implementing standards.
  • Creating regional/site SOPs & templates if needed.
  • Developing project cost estimation & value improvement review.
  • Supporting project charter, business case, and CAR.
  • Developing and implementing coding (DCS/Scada/PLC's/Control Networks).
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Historian Configuration for modules/visualization/OPEX.
  • Implementing software change controls associated with automation/system changes.
  • Owning and developing automation solutions consistent with specific needs of the manufacturing environment.
  • Taking an active role in preparing adequate and cost-effective solutions for all automation investment-related projects. Leveraging best practices and expertise across the Engineering network.

Your contribution to the job:

  • Degree in engineering, IT (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in the local language.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desirable requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in automation in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
