This position is located in Kundl, Austria. Novartis cannot offer relocation support for this position; please only apply if this location is accessible to you.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting audits: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure HSE, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Training and curriculum management: Responsibility for the training content of your own job profile.
  • Project leadership and optimizations: Lead and participate in improvement projects (e.g., energy efficiency, productivity, environmental compliance).
  • Approval management: Obtain approvals for maintenance, calibration, and project activities.
  • Cost estimations and value enhancements: Develop project budget plans and conduct value optimization reviews.
  • Identifying technical solutions: Evaluate and implement efficient technical improvements.
  • Project management: Create procurement plans, conduct tenders and procurement, and manage health and safety measures.
  • CMMS data management: Input and maintain master data, work order assignments, and time allocations of technicians.
  • Maintenance and calibration planning: Resource planning, coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Plant availability and documentation: Ensure plant availability and maintain technical procedures and knowledge management.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Professional experience: Experience in team leadership and cross-departmental collaboration, as well as functional expertise.
  • Project management: Skills in planning, executing, and optimizing projects, including performance improvement and risk management.
  • Technical skills: Expertise in back-end development, electronic components, mathematical optimization, and design development.
  • Quality standards: Knowledge of GMP, GDP, CAPA, and general HSE know-how.
  • Industry-specific knowledge: Familiarity with chemistry, manufacturing (production), and change control.
  • Technological skills: Proficiency with SAP, Office, COMOC, reading R+I schemes, and modern technical tools.
  • Problem-solving skills: Expertise in root cause analysis (RCA) and project commissioning.
  • Language skills: Fluent communication in German and English required.

What We Offer:

In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive bonus/incentive program, a modern company pension, childcare facilities, training and development programs, and global career opportunities within the Novartis Group. Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obligated to disclose the legally prescribed collective agreement minimum salary for this position, which is € 65,606.54/year (full-time basis). However, a higher salary is usually provided based on your previous experience, qualifications, and individual competencies.
