The Software Engineer will cooperate with team members, Software architects, and Test & Verification team on the successful delivery of high-quality designs. The selected candidate will deal with design and development of medical-grade software, compliant with medical standards per internal development process. Furthermore, the Software Engineer will focus on maintainability, scalability, and testability of the software modules and work on improvements of personal as well as team ability to estimate and deliver on time.
• Requirements analysis
• Planning and execution of design and code reviews
• Implementation of software modules
• Creating the necessary documentation
• Cooperation in prototype construction and test
• Implementation of technical changes in series of products/product maintenance
• Participation in the identification and assimilation of the best practices in software development
• Application of defensive programming principles, continuous integration
General Tasks
• Compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
• Implementation of the instructions of the quality/environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
• Growing design blocks ownership responsibility based on the seniority progression
• Knowledge of system development and software design
• Strong understanding of Object-oriented Paradigm, design patterns
• Experience with desktop application development or firmware/embedded SW (functional as well as object-oriented)
• Experience with programming in C++ (C# or Python is an advantage)
• Proficient use of software development tools and Microsoft Office
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Min. Bc. degree in Software engineering or Computer science
• Proactive approach, good communication skills, team-player
• Knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering and communication protocols
• Knowledge of Linux and/or QNX operating system
• Self-motivated person
• Occasional travelling (Less than 10% per year)
