As an SRE on AWS, with us, you will work at the intersection of business, business systems, aircraft systems, and customers, focusing on leveraging AWS cloud services. You will be part of the IT team in Norway, where we have a good AWS setup and a DevOps culture in the organization. We are constantly on the move to improve and be better. We want to keep up to speed with new technology, new services, and a modern way of operations. Our goal is to have everything on infrastructure as code and automated from deploy to incident response. This is why we need you when we migrate more systems to AWS and deliver more value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on AWS developments and propose solutions to optimize business value through development and operational efficiency.
  • Implement cloud solutions using our IaC stack (mainly CloudFormation) and support development teams with infrastructure needs.
  • Be our domain expert on IaC and CICD on AWS
  • Be a partner for development teams when migrating to AWS, advising, implementing, and training them
  • Drive automation and no-ops practices, evolve runbooks and automation
  • Work with observability and operational practices, enabling the DevOps culture in the development teams.
  • Contribute to a culture focused on IT security.
  • Coordinate solutions with our IT strategy and architecture.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Higher technical education, with strong knowledge of IaC and a general understanding of software development processes and web applications / APIs.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with supporting and enabling development teams in AWS
  • Experience with python, .NET or Java
  • Strong business understanding and the ability to address user needs.
  • Keen interest in IT and new technologies.
