This position is PRN/as needed and will provide coverage in different areas. Benefits are not offered with this position. Please review the required qualifications for this position prior to applying. The Teacher/Tutor reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This role provides tutoring services to adolescent patients in Partial Hospital Program (PHP), including coordinating all educational needs between BHS and the patient's school.

Required:

  • Bachelor's in education/teaching.
  • Current Illinois Teaching Certification.
  • Type 09 Certification for Secondary (grades 6-12) Learning Behavior Specialist Endorsement.

Preferred:

  • 2-5 years classroom management experience.
  • Master's degree.
