Responsibilities

Manages and facilitates Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services with various Hospital departments, services and medical staff. Manages operations of sections of department such as Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Services, Evening, and Night shifts, and Specimen Collection and Processing ensuring regulatory continuous readiness for OP locations.

Qualifications

Required: 1. B.S. degree in medical technology, or chemical, physical, or biological sciences, plus five (5) years' experience in a clinical laboratory

2. 3-5 years of being primarily responsible for managing a hospital laboratory to include management experience in operations, planning, fiscal, human resources, change management and Quality Improvement management.

3. Successful coordination, team leadership and training skills.

4. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Preferred: 1. Graduate degree in Laboratory science, Management, Health science or related field

7am - 3:30pm
