Responsibilities
The Director of Medical/Surgical Services has the primary responsibility for the daily operation of departments within Med/Surg. The Director has overall responsibility for the planning, administration, control and quality management of department activities.
Qualifications
Required:
1. Master's degree in Nursing or BS degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2. Good written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
1. Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty.
