Associate Avionics Engineer
The Associate Avionics Engineer will support the provision of 21J Design Services in close association with MTCH, CAM Services and allied groups. You will also have accountability for:
- Performing development of modifications, repairs, and technical data amendments for aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Conducting technical investigation into defects, deficiencies, and faults reported on C27J aircraft avionics systems.
- Under direction, investigate, analyse, and develop pragmatic and timely engineering solutions to technical issues experienced during C-27J operations.
- Working closely in a team with other experienced engineering personnel to sustain and grow the C27J capability.
- Progressively attaining competency, technical knowledge, and expertise on C-27J avionics systems.
- Interacting with and supporting allied departments in the provision of TLS services to meet customer requirements.
- Progressively gain a good understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR).
About You:
- Bachelor of Engineering (AQF Level 8) in Avionics, Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics or a similar field.
- Graduate Membership of Engineers Australia / Membership of BPEQ.
- Aviation experience, preferably in a design environment.
- Problem Solving and Technical Report writing.
- Computer Aided Design experience/competency.
