Major Duties:

  • Handles second day transaction review, decision transactions for rejection or approval.
  • Posts, researches, reconcile and balance general ledgers.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving client matters within established guidelines.
  • Meeting all time sensitive and daily deadline driven tasks.
  • Works effectively with internal clients/partners as well as external.
  • Knowledgeable of the core aspects of banking and accounting/reconcilement.
  • Strives to become proficient in all areas of the job.
  • Successfully generates, creates and presents formal reports.
  • Proactively assess client needs with initiative and refers more multifaceted issues to subject matter experts and/or supervisor.

Knowledge:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Basic understanding of banking procedures is preferred.
  • Attention to detail; analytical and problem solving skills are required.
  • Excel experience is a plus.

Experience:

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.

Salary Range:

$47,500 - 71,300 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
