The Department of Applied Psychology at Northeastern University invites applications for a 52-week full-time, non-tenure-track open-rank Clinical Professor position focused on strengthening and overseeing clinical training operations across our Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) graduate programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
With growing enrollments, our department seeks a colleague who will lead efforts to ensure regulatory compliance, manage program evaluation and educational assessment, oversee licensure and credentialing processes, coordinate contracts and incentives for site supervisors, maintain accurate placement and site databases, and drive continuous quality improvement in clinical training environments.
This faculty member will also play a role in expanding, coordinating, and evaluating clinical placements and fieldwork sites; ensuring alignment with accreditation standards (APA, MPCAC, NASP, ABAI), certification requirements (BACB), and competency-based training frameworks; and strengthening partnerships with school, community, and healthcare organizations.
This person will collaborate closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Clinical Training (Counseling/School) and the Director of Supervision for ABA Programs to support a cohesive, developmentally sequenced training model for all students.
