Director Of Peer Tutoring
The director of peer tutoring provides strategic leadership for peer tutoring as a core component of Northeastern's academic support and student success ecosystem. The role is responsible for advancing a cohesive, high-quality, and equitable peer tutoring model that supports student learning, confidence, and persistence across programs and disciplines. The director brings a forward-looking perspective to the work, staying attuned to emerging pedagogical practices and learning assistance models while championing peer-to-peer learning as a high-impact educational practice. The director oversees the full scope of peer tutoring services, including in-person and online delivery, and ensures alignment between tutoring practices, curricular needs, and institutional learning outcomes. The role serves as a connector across academic departments and student support units, helping integrate peer tutoring into the broader learning environment while maintaining consistent standards, effective operations, and a strong student experience.
