This position assists in the maintenance functions of the registrar's office concerning course schedules, registration, and administrative support.
Major Duties
- Verifies accuracy of semester class schedules, working with the departments to make necessary adjustments
- Prepares and distributes semester schedule reports
- Prepare schedule landing pages each semester for website
- Maintains office supply inventory; reorders as needed
- Processes purchase orders; processes purchase card statements
- Assists in the development and management of assigned budgets
- Updates student attributes in Banner as directed
- Prepares and distributes President's and Dean's Honor Rolls
- Scans and indexes student files maintained by the registrar's office
- Makes travel arrangements for registrar office staff
- Enters undergraduate graduation applications into Banner
- Processes enrollment verifications
- Assists the Associate Registrar-Programs/Degrees with the degree audit system
- Evaluates and processes exceptions for student degree programs
- Assists as needed during all commencement ceremonies
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Controls
The Registrar assigns work in terms of general instructions. The supervisor spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results.
Guidelines
Guidelines include department and university policies and procedures. These guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some interpretation in application.
Complexity/Scope of Work
The work in this position consists of varied duties in support of the department's records management functions. Strict regulations contribute to the complexity of the position. The purpose of this position is to assist in the maintenance functions of the registrar's office concerning course schedules, registration, and administrative support.
Contacts
Contacts are typically with co-workers, other college personnel, students, faculty, vendors, and members of the general public. Contacts are typically to provide services, to give or exchange information, or to resolve problems.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or while intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light objects. The work is typically performed in an office.
Supervisory and Management Responsibility
This position may have indirect supervision over student workers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of an associate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to three years.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
- This position requires a minimum of 1-3 years' experience
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issue by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Banner student modules.
- Familiarity with NSU purchasing and travel policies/procedures.
Annual salary $31,116.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time. Anticipated hire date: 9/15/2025 Applications will be accepted until: 9/2/2025
