Job Description

We are looking for a Health and Human Services Consultant to analyze, develop, and implement solutions that enhance service delivery and program outcomes in health and human services programs.

This position will be full-time contract and remote with occasional travel.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing health and human services programs to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and tools to measure program outcomes
  • Research and analyze current policies and regulations affecting health and human services
  • Assist in developing policy recommendations and strategic plans to enhance service delivery
  • Support the implementation of new policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and service providers, to gather insights and build consensus
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to discuss program goals, challenges, and solutions
  • Provide technical assistance and training to stakeholders on best practices and innovative approaches
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful completion of consulting engagements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and technological advancements in health and human services
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within programs and processes
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and clients to foster a culture of continuous learning and development

What You'll Need

Required: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Public Administration, or another related social sciences field. 3-7 years of experience in health and human services consulting, program evaluation, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, program development, and stakeholder engagement. Proven track record of managing projects and delivering results in a consulting environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SPSS, or similar programs. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work in an office setting or remotely, depending on client needs and project requirements.

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards. Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around for meetings or travel. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

The pay rate for this position is $87,500 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
