We have been aggressively expanding our consulting ranks in innovative areas like ERP Transformations, systems integration, application development, and data. This expanded consulting team will work with new and existing clients to help them achieve more.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Service Owners are a key role in the consulting organization at Kyndryl. They are entrepreneurs inside the company responsible for building their team, working with sales to find opportunities, overseeing delivery, and ensuring that the team's offerings are aligned to our clients' demand. You will effectively run a DevOps Consultancy within Kyndryl. You will work closely with our application developers to help them setup CI/CD pipelines on engagements, but you will also show clients how to enable their own DevOps environments. You'll partner with Cloud, Mainframe, Security, and Testing teams to help integrate their automations to form CI/CD pipelines and even Developer Platforms. You'll also work with our Agile Ways of Working team to change the way software development happens for us and our clients.

Who You Are

In order to fulfill all of these responsibilities, you will need to be a seasoned professional with experience in managed services, infrastructure platforms, DevOps, product management mindset (as opposed to siloed service management), an ability to collaborate across management structures/geographies, and leadership. • You have the credibility to get clients to trust your judgement on how to advance their platform initiatives and roll out new application platforms and tools.
• You have experience standing up and administering developer platforms and tools such as API gateways, messaging layers, CI/CD systems, AI assisted development tools, test automation tools, development frameworks, infrastructure automation, and more.
• You understand the tradeoffs between centralized application tools and allowing devops teams to identify and implement their own tools.
• You are a proven leader who can build and motivate a team of professionals.
• You understand the value of agile and iterative development.
• You have the organizational skills to manage to a set of metrics.
• Your entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance will guide you through the hard work and attention to detail required to build a consulting practice in Kyndryl.
• You have started to experiment with AI and have an understanding how modern software development will need to adapt to it.
• Experience leading teams and hiring people for platform services related technical tasks like service management, stakeholder identification, AI Ops, platform design/architecture, and administration.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $173,280 to $329,280 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

• California: $190,560 to $395,040
• Colorado: $173,280 to $329,280
• New York City: $207,840 to $395,040
• Washington: $190,560 to $362,160
• Washington DC: $190,560 to $362,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
