Qorvo supplies innovative semiconductor solutions that make a better world possible. We combine product and technology leadership, systems-level expertise and global manufacturing scale to quickly solve our customers' most complex technical challenges. Qorvo serves multiple high-growth segments of large global markets, including consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, EVs, battery-powered appliances, network infrastructure, healthcare and aerospace/defense.

Summary: Qorvo's is seeking a skilled design engineer with expertise in RF/mmW multi-chip front-end module (FEM) design and a strong electromagnetic (EM) simulation experience. The ideal candidate will join Qorvos Advanced Development (AD) team, working closely with product development teams to accelerate the adoption of innovative circuit and technology solutions. As a Module Design Engineer in the AD group, you’ll engage with cutting-edge technologies developed by the Technology Platforms Group, contributing to Qorvos industry-leading 5G NR FR1/FR2 and emerging 6G products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with product development teams to identify engineering-level goals and challenges, enabling the rapid integration of Qorvos latest AD circuits and technologies into their product roadmaps.
  • Drive the FEM integration and meet the target performance at the top module level while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule while working with multi-discipline teams developing PA, RF switches, LNA, and acoustic filters.
  • Build complex HFSS EM models of multi-functional RF/mmW front-end modules to prevent unwanted coupling and minimize the module shielding effects within the module.
  • Conduct FMS (full module simulations) across all functional states to identify compliance issues and provide solutions to improve margin to specifications.
  • Drive the module design review and tapeout.
