Job Title: Senior Infra Automation Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Type: Full Time with Benefits

Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere Microsoft HyperV in on-premises server farms

Expertise in VM lifecycle high availability DR within physical data centers

Proficient in developing and maintaining reusable Ansible Roles and Collections to standardize and scale automation across diverse environments

Experienced in managing sensitive data securely with Ansible Vault and troubleshooting playbooks in check and diff mode

Integrate Ansible into CICD pipelines to ensure consistent and repeatable application deployments

In-depth knowledge of ITIL-based incident problem and change management using ServiceNowJira

Exposure to containerization Kubernetes Docker relevant to on-prem DC hosted environments

Capacity planning and performance tuning for large-scale VM infrastructures physically hosted

Other Skills

Collaborative team player skilled in cross-discipline communication

Detail-driven problem solver with strong governance compliance orientation

Documentation and operational process excellence

Certifications

VMware Certified Professional VCP or equivalent

ITIL Foundation and Agile certifications recommended

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $106,230 to $145,000/yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
