Senior AI Engineer

The senior AI Engineer will lead IVR and Conversational AI initiatives, design scalable LLM and NLP solutions for high-volume customer interactions. This role will drive architecture, best practices, and innovation across voice AI systems.

Skills and Requirements:

MUST BE PROFICIENT IN SPANISH

Design and implement AI-driven IVR and conversational voice/chat systems using Python

Develop NLP models for tasks such as text classification and clustering to improve intent detection and call routing

Analyze large-scale IVR and interaction datasets using SQL to generate insights and optimize performance

Create and deploy LLM workflows—including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation—for both voice and chat applications

Lead the development of agentic AI workflows to support complex, multi-step customer interactions

Establish best practices for LLM operations, including monitoring, evaluation, and full lifecycle management

Collaborate closely with IVR platform teams, speech engineering groups, and product partners

Mentor and guide offshore engineers and junior AI team members

5+ years of experience in AI / ML

Very strong proficiency in Python

Proven expertise in NLP, including:

Text classification

Clustering

Strong experience in data analysis using SQL

Hands-on experience with LLMs: Prompt engineering

Evaluation frameworks

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
