Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our team! Responsibilities include monitoring operations of a club or assigned club area, normally during absence of the club manager and/or facility manager, including nights and weekends. Assists the manager daily by opening and closing the activity. Assists and services customers by providing directions, demonstrating equipment and services, and/or assisting in purchases. Provides leadership and training to lower graded employees. Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of cash. Operates a cash register and verifies safe. Makes unscheduled cash counts. Orders, receives, and maintains sufficient stock of product to meet daily operational needs. May be assigned to any Food and Hospitality facility on a temporary or permanent basis, as needed. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a minimum of one year experience overseeing operation of an establishment or facility. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and skill to operate cash register, handling large sums of money accurately. Skill to process daily activity paperwork. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees.
