Security Officers & Supervisors Hiring Event

Sunstates Security is hosting a hiring event for Security Officers, Receptionist, and Site Supervisor on Wednesday, February 18th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Meet with hiring managers for full-time and part-time positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in the Asheville, NC area. Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $18-20.00/hr, with weekly pay.

Location of event: The Courtyard by Marriott at Biltmore Village 26 Meadow Road, Asheville, NC 28803

This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers. Please complete an application prior to the event on our career page.

Requirements:

• Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in-person.
• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical security or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., email, incident reporting software).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
