Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer positions in Plymouth, North Carolina. ALL SHIFTS are available. These positions offer a starting pay rate of $14.00/hr - paid weekly. The Security Officer role is to secure premises and personnel by patrolling; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass any state required training or other qualifications for licensing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Prior security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Team player.

The ideal candidates must have the ability to attend our licensing class on a Monday and Tuesday on-site in Plymouth, if they are not currently in possession of a state PPSB-issued security license.

Education and Certification Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

North Carolina Drivers License
