Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. Responsibilities include assisting the supervisor in the economic and efficient operation of a fast-food concept facility, which may include delivery services, preparing party platters, specialty cakes, catering, beverage and dining services. You will also assist in managing and overseeing a cost-effective operation for various food service activities such as snack bars, mobile canteens, concessionaires, and other food service activities. Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas in accordance with medical department regulations, maintaining adequate stock levels, and conducting periodic inventories to ensure all perishables are within the shelf life of the product are also key duties. You will participate in the preparation of financial plans, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and related records and reports. Additionally, you may assist in coordinating marketing promotions, oversee food service surveys, and perform first-level supervisory duties including personnel actions, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Requirements include three years of experience in the operation of a food service or food concept facility, the ability to understand MCCS policies, orders, and regulations, and the capability to supervise employees and communicate effectively. Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance is required.
