Devops Engineer - Active Ts/sci With CI Poly Required For Eligibility

DevOps Engineer Position

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Top Secret/SCI w/ CI polygraph). Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Large system integrator looking to add four DevOps Engineers to the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience within Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, deploying CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Linux administration.

- Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels

- Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security

- Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements.

- Identify the needs for build automation, designing, and implementing CICD solutions.

- Build or maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for app and development teams to enable quicker build and deployment.

- Experience with Docker for containerization- nice to have Podman experience

- Need to be able to hit the ground running- large team so won't have a lot of time to train

- Must have experience with STIGS and hardening on all deployments/new development

- LINUX OS - Build, configure, harden, deploy new VMs and register within IAM

- Ansible (Ansible playbooks), Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Git/Version Control Software, or comparable technologies

Must have 3+ of the following- the more the better however the top 3 are must have:

• Terraform - must have
• Kubernetes administration - must have
• AWS administration - must have
• Flux
• Helm
• DynamoDB
• NATS configuration
• Big Bang-internal NG product but similar (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Jenkins/GitLab/Bamboo
• Basic System Administration, especially Linux
• Agile experience

Skills: AWS, Java, Ansible, Automation, Terraform, Linux, Jenkins, Cloud, CICD, Jira, Git

Top Skills Details:

• 3-5 years of experience developing CI/CD Pipelines and deploying them into AWS cloud environments
• 3-5 years of experience in Kubernetes automating deployments using K8 clusters
• 3-5 years of experience in Terraform building, changing, and versioning infrastructure safely and efficiently through code

Need Bachelor’s degree or 6-7 years of experience in lieu of degree

MUST HAVE TS/SCI W/ ADJUDICATED POLY WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS

MUST HAVE SEC+, CISSP, OR CISM (REQUIRED WITHIN THE FIRST 60 DAYS)

MUST SIT OUT OF Morrisville, NC OR Aurora, CO

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Current TS/SCI with adjudicated poly (must be within the last 5 years)
• CISM, CISSP or other Security Certifications (Required in first 60 days)

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, NC.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
