Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. Position details include:

Location: Onsite in Carrboro, NC

Schedule: Monday - Friday, between 7:30AM- 4PM

Compensation: Starting at $18/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Providing advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Operating cash registers and following established cash handling procedures
• Preparing and staging orders for customer pick up
• Maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards
• Ensuring that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintaining a safe working environment including PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Adhering to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications include:

• 3-5 years experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must
• Excellent decision making and communication skills
