Community Outreach And Sales Associate

Remote Nano Insights (RNI) is a North Carolina-based assistive technology company developing privacy-first monitoring solutions that support adults with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), and aging-related needs. We serve the growing disability support and senior care markets by delivering innovative, Medicaid-billable services that promote independence, safety, and caregiver support.

The Community Outreach and Sales Associate supports customer engagement and business development activities by introducing RNI services to families, referral partners, and community organizations. This role combines relationship-based outreach with the use of digital tools to track activity and support follow-up. This position supports outreach efforts across rural North Carolina counties (Vance, Granville, Warren, Franklin, and Person) and plays a key role in expanding access to technology-enabled services while helping build local workforce capacity in the emerging health technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement and Relationship Development (60%)
    • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to disability service agencies, group home providers, and community organizations
    • Introduce RNI services to families, care managers, and LME/MCO partners across target counties
    • Schedule and participate in service demonstrations, consultations, and needs assessments
    • Attend local community events, caregiver support groups, and disability advocacy meetings
    • Build and maintain referral relationships with community partners, including independent living centers and autism-focused organizations
  • Sales Activity and Customer Management (30%)
    • Track outreach activity, leads, and follow-up using a cloud-based CRM system (training provided)
    • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, referral sources, and active conversations
    • Document customer needs, service requirements, and key discussion notes
    • Support contract preparation and onboarding coordination
    • Generate weekly activity summaries and pipeline updates
  • Market Intelligence and Feedback (10%)
    • Gather customer and partner feedback on service offerings and unmet needs
    • Report on regional market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
    • Contribute to refinement of outreach messaging and service positioning
