Join us as an Operations Manager in Zaandam. This role is crucial in leading and overseeing the production departments, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to company policies, regulatory standards, and NORIT's global standards. This role requires a strategic leader to align plant operations with business objectives, implement long-term plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Direct and optimize production processes to achieve reliable and consistent operations while ensuring compliance with ISO, SHEQ, and SOX standards
• Reduce process variability, enhance process capability, and drive ongoing improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness
• Drive safety culture on site in line with NORIT key values
• Contribute to the development and execution of the site's long-range plans and capital budget. Define long-term capital needs and oversee implementation plans to support business objectives
• Establish and utilize effective measurement tools to monitor and enhance process performance. Leverage data analysis to optimize resources and drive process improvement projects
• Develop and execute initiatives to minimize fixed and variable costs through innovation and efficiency. Provide timely cost management reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with product lines and R&D to support new product development, optimize existing processes, and facilitate the transfer of manufacturing technologies across sites
• Integrate education plans and foster a culture of manufacturing excellence. Actively practice Performance Based Management to develop employees and align efforts across matrix functions.
