The Nokia Nuremberg R&D team is developing next generation optical transport systems for metro as well as core networks. You will be part of the System Test organization responsible for quality assurance of transport products developed by the Optical Networks R&D teams. Close cooperation with other groups like Product Management, System Engineering, HW and SW development, and customer support at several sites worldwide is part of daily work. Within our supportive and agile work environment you will find space for individual thinking and creativity. To deliver our optical products to customers with functionality matching their expectations and with highest quality a full-scale verification of the system comprising HW and SW is conducted.
A steadily increasing product functionality is provided by the R&D organization through a continuous flow of releases. To cope with this a highly automated test approach is mandatory. Therefore, an important part of the System Test work consists in ai-supported development of test automation for target and simulation covering the complete functionality. Alternatively, you will work in a scrum team to focus on the bring-up of specific features for a release and cover the test and automation tasks for these cycles, respectively.
