The team you will join is a flexible team with a passion for equipment applications (power metering, temperature sensors, fan control, etc.) development and test. We are interacting closely with the hardware and with our colleagues of the Linux platform driver development.

As a team, we have the knowledge on end to end product functionality as our deliverables are gating for other SW application teams. The team consists of a mix of developers and testers.

Your Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

• Understand new features, use cases, and reflect on possible failure scenarios to improve architecture at the start of development
• Define and discuss test plans for new features including corner cases, defining stress test, etc.
• Contribute to building test setups, test execution, bug reproduction, and test automation (robot framework)
• Think with the team on how to improve the overall test scope/infrastructure of the equipment domain
• By investigating issues, you will get familiar with the software, this will open the opportunity to also actively contribute on bug fixing and even implementation of features.

Your Skills and Experience

• Engineering degree or a degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications/Electronic (or 5 years of experience)
• Experience with SW development
• Knowledge of C or C++ programs
• Experience with working in a Linux environment
• Knowledge on Python scripting
• Eagerness and agility to learn fast and be challenged on a daily basis
• Passion in handling complex systems and projects
• Critical, pragmatic mind and "out-of-the-box" thinking
• Fluently in English
