Your Responsibilities

Technical Buyer

  • Using an Excel Equipment BOM, procure, track, and organize equipment needed to build manufacturing test sets
  • Consult with Test Engineers to obtain clarity on bill of materials
  • Where possible, reduce costs by exploring the used equipment market

Test Set Construction Planner

  • Understand customer delivery requirements
  • Schedule test set construction for multiple internal customers
  • Coordinate with technicians building the equipment to keep projects on track
  • Solve critical build issues as they occur
  • Lead interactions with suppliers and negotiate best pricing

Your Skills And Experience

Education

  • 2 year technical, supply chain or business degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Lab or Manufacturing environment
  • Prefer some experience with electronics and/or optics

Skills

  • Excel (basic formulas, conditional formatting)
  • Power Point (basic slides to convey status)
  • MS Project (basic project tracking)
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong attention to details
