OPS Manager Position
The incorporation of the OPS Manager in the Food and Beverage department aims to improve supervision, operational efficiency, and cross-departmental integration of operations. The key function is to guarantee an exceptional customer experience, optimizing resources and fostering team cohesion.
Key Functions
1. Supervision: Constant monitoring of daily operations in all Food and Beverage areas, ensuring service quality and compliance with standards.
2. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Effective coordination between restaurants, bars, room service, and events, ensuring a smooth and integrated operation.
3. Operational Efficiency: Optimization of resources, process improvement, and application of technologies to enhance department performance.
Food and Beverage Positions Description
Restaurants and Service:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with service standards.
- Coordinate kitchen and service interaction to ensure efficient delivery times.
- Manage reservations and customer flow, adjusting to demand peaks.
- Control the quality of the customer experience and foster loyalty.
- Implement and supervise compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Train and develop the service team.
Functions:
- Ensure impeccable customer service.
- Supervise the correct arrangement of tables, furniture, and decor.
- Control the execution of menus and promotions.
- Collect customer feedback and manage incidents.
- Maintain fluid communication with the kitchen for service coordination and events.
Bars and Events:
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bar operations, including service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate special events, banquets, and special activities within the establishments.
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of cocktails, beverages, and special menus for events.
- Ensure the quality of products and customer experience in bar areas.
- Control inventory levels of beverages and supplies to avoid stock shortages or excesses.
- Lead the bartender team and event staff in continuous training and development.
- Coordinate the service of drinks and cocktails in the bar and lounge areas.
- Supervise the preparation and distribution of menus for private events.
- Ensure all events are carried out as planned, from reception to event closure.
- Manage attention to VIP guests and special clients at events.
Room Services and Logistics:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operation of room service, ensuring fast delivery times and a quality experience.
- Manage the logistics of food and beverages in all hotel areas (including events, restaurants, and rooms).
- Optimize order and delivery processes through an efficient communication system with kitchen and service staff.
- Coordinate with the reception and housekeeping department to ensure services are delivered correctly in rooms.
- Control product inventories for both room service and general logistics operations.
- Collaborate with the head chef in planning menus tailored to customer needs within the room service offer.
- Manage the delivery logistics of food and beverages to rooms, ensuring all orders are correct.
- Control the distribution logistics of food and beverages in events and common areas of the hotel.
- Maintain coordination with other departments such as cleaning, maintenance, and reception.
