We are currently looking for Systems Engineer II to join our team in Smyrna, TN.

Systems Engineer contributes to product delivery, within a product team. Collaborates across functions, teams and vendors to perform defined activities with direction, owns well-scoped tasks to maintain service levels and deliver product increments. Identifies outliers and escalates appropriately.

A Day in the Life:

  • Coordinate backlog readiness and maintain documentation.
  • Support feature delivery, reliability work, and small automations.
  • Analyze alerts/incidents; perform triage and remediation.
  • Contribute to test automation and release readiness.
  • Partner with vendors for SLA compliance and effective escalations.
  • Documents incremental improvements.
  • In-depth understanding within own discipline; awareness of adjacent areas.
  • Working knowledge of test automation, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Ability to implement routine CI/CD steps and environment configuration.
  • Comfortable estimating and prioritizing work in Agile teams.
  • Advanced use of Azure DevOps/Jira boards and dashboards.
  • Source control and CI/CD pipeline management (variables, approvals).
  • Intro to automation and IaC (PowerShell/Bash, Terraform).
  • Observability tools for logs, metrics, and basic dashboards.

Who We're Looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have above average troubleshooting and problem solving.

Years of Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years overall IS/IT experience with application and systems development experience
  • Min 2 years of experience working with third party vendors.

Education

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or technology related field required.
