Reporting/analytics Focused Data Engineer - Remote Eligible

Data Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform querying, data extraction, and reporting work
2. Support business intelligence dashboards and reporting requirements
3. Focus on the reporting/warehousing side of data engineering

Required Skills (Must-Have):

• Advanced SQL skills (comfortable with popular SQL dialects)
• Query experience on Databricks or similar engines (Snowflake, BigQuery, Presto, Athena acceptable)
• Familiarity with at least two BI tools (excluding Looker and ThoughtSpot)
• Examples: Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar tools
• Rationale: Demonstrates conceptual understanding beyond single-tool expertise

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Exposure to Looker or ThoughtSpot (semantic modeling concepts)
• Some exposure to pipelining/ETL work to facilitate cross-training
