As an athlete/sales representative in our Nike store, your task will be to provide a premium customer experience by demonstrating expertise in identifying individual customer needs and offering a comprehensive solution through Nike products and services, so that customers receive what they need to connect, train, and compete with the knowledge required to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Use customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers to the right product and drive sales.
- Build a connection between the customer and the brand through excellent service and adapting brand stories to the retail environment.
- Maintain knowledge of the different departments in the store and be available to operate the cash register in regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving tasks, arrange merchandise in the store, perform cleaning tasks, and build visual displays as needed.
- Serve as a product knowledge source for customers and new employees. Seek opportunities for learning and developing advanced or specialized knowledge in the field of sales, Nike products, brand culture, sales techniques, and service.
- Assist managers and senior employees in training new employees.
- Help in loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience in customer service and/or retail sales - an advantage.
- Passion for the Nike brand.
- Ability to perform basic accounting operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing (or in another relevant language).
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
