Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to drive pipeline execution and opportunity conversion for NIQ's Activate Retail Solution across the EEMEA region. This role is about rolling up your sleeves and working closely with dotted-line account managers, regional retail leads, and country managers to build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline through a structured GTM and sales funnel.

You'll be responsible for day-to-day pipeline management, ensuring opportunities move steadily from lead to closure, with a sharp focus on the buying process, key personas, and retailer-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline & Sales Execution

  • Own and manage the full sales funnel from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with account managers and regional leads to track progress, remove blockers, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting across all stages of the funnel.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with country retail managers and dotted-line account teams to align on GTM priorities and opportunity ownership.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and collateral to specific buyer personas and verticals.

GTM Discipline

  • Implement and enforce a structured GTM approach across the region, including lead scoring, persona mapping, and use-case alignment.
  • Drive consistent execution of sales playbooks and engagement strategies across markets.

Buyer-Centric Engagement

  • Map and understand the buying process and key decision-makers within each retailer.
  • Customize presentations and proposals to reflect the retailer's vision, challenges, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure every sales interaction adds value and builds trust with the client.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs including conversion rates, cycle times, and win/loss ratios.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on pipeline health and sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in retail tech, loyalty, or data-driven solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel mechanics and GTM execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional EEMEA languages are a plus.
