Process Engineer

As a process engineer, you are responsible for process capability in the dry etching area and are part of the LITEC section at the Hamburg production site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the technological process capability and process stability of the released process steps in the dry etching area
  • Responsible control of the assigned SPC/CPK values and responsibility for the derived measures
  • Independent processing of error messages in the area (red spot / non-conforming lot, error database)
  • Identification and processing of process-related waste hotspots/quality weaknesses in the area
  • Evaluation of the technological process capability and process stability of new process modules
  • Participation and approval of new process modules (ICR, process module approval)
  • Participation in the selection, testing, introduction, and approval of new/additional systems
  • Participation in the creation of necessary instructions (e.g., work instructions, training plans, OCAPs…)
  • Conducting training measures
  • Participation in the creation of process step FMEAs

Your Profile:

  • Completed master's degree or PhD in natural sciences
  • Several years of experience in semiconductor technology, ideally in the dry etching area
  • Analytical thinking
  • Planning and organizational talent and communication skills
  • Team skills and social competence in dealing with many interfaces
  • Creativity and assertiveness
  • Fluent German and good English skills in speech and writing
