Reporting to a Human Resources Specialist 2, SG-23, the selected Human Resources Specialist 1/Trainee 1/2 will assist the Human Resources Specialist 2 with recruitment, probation/performance management, and communications. The incumbent selected for this position must possess excellent communication skills. They will be required to establish and maintain working relationships with professional, paraprofessional, and support staff. The incumbent selected for this role must also be open to traveling to career fairs across the state.
If you are appointed as a Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1, Grade 14, or Human Resources Specialist Trainee 2, Grade 16, you would participate in a traineeship. At the successful conclusion of your traineeship, you would advance without further examination to Human Resources Specialist 1, Grade 18.
