In this role, you will work with a team to obtain prior authorization for both hospitalized and outpatient medication treatment. Expectations include: providing documentation and clinical data required by the patient's third-party payer; accurately and completely document all information into the electronic medical record (Epic); monitor pharmacy claim data; identify critical reimbursement issues; work with Finance and Billing to resolve issues in an expedient and initiative-taking manner. Participates in training and continued competency activities and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
