Your Impact

As a Team Lead, Procurement Services, you will supervise and guide your team to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant purchasing services. Your leadership will ensure procurement processes run smoothly, supplier payments are timely, and performance standards are consistently met.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

• Oversee requisition creation and purchase order processing from start to finish.

• Ensure alignment with procurement policies, supplier agreements, and regulatory requirements.

• Verify invoices, purchase orders, goods receipts, and requisitions for accuracy.

• Oversee timely and compliant supplier payments, improving payment cycles and methods.

• Resolve data quality issues and validate high-value purchase orders.

• Review procurement performance reports, identify issues, and recommend improvements.

• Support process automation, P2P system enhancements, and workflow improvements.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Recognize and develop team members through coaching and feedback.

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP/SAP (Ariba preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of P2P processes, procurement standards, and global service delivery models.
  • Project management fundamentals and data analysis skills.
  • Experience leading or supervising procurement or P2P teams.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Your Work Environment

  • You will be part of Newmont's Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Corporate function. The role is people-focused and involves cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders across People, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams.
  • While the position is intended to be hybrid, as we establish our foundation, we will begin on-site to foster strong relationships, align our strategies, and ensure a solid framework for long-term success.
  • This role is for the day shift schedule.
  • Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC).
