Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold dorΓ© bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.

Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, the Reliability Engineer will provide maintenance and reliability support for our mechanical fixed plant and infrastructure assets at the Cadia Mine. In this role, you will be pivotal in maximising the availability, utilisation, and performance of equipment across both surface and underground operations.
You will draw on your expertise to oversee the installation and commissioning of small capital works and plant modifications as required. Leveraging your experience in fixed plant and mining infrastructure maintenance, you will deliver effective reliability-centred maintenance strategies, informed by condition monitoring programs, and develop comprehensive asset management plans for mechanical assets.
In addition, you will proactively identify and address potential hazards, lead mechanical fault-finding investigations, and conduct failure analysis processes, including Root Cause Analysis, to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Please note: This is a 5/2 (9 hours per day) or 9 days per fortnight (10 hours per day) residential role in Orange, NSW and the successful applicant will have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
