Sme Computer User Support Specialist

GovCIO is currently hiring for SME Computer User Support Specialist. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
• Providing personal computer, hardware, and software support.
• Installing, servicing, and repairing personal computers and installing attendant software.
• Connecting personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
• Maintaining network diagrams and circuit records.
• Maintaining trouble logs.
• Instructing users in the use of personal computers and networks.
• Investigating information, network, and communications needs of users, and making recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
• Performing basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
• Conferring with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients or staff in person, via telephone or from a remote location.
• Maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
• Developing training materials and procedures, and/or training users in the proper use of hardware and software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience) required.
• Clearance required: ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Posted Pay Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $107,000.00 /Yr.
