Senior Director, HR Business Partner

As Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will be a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership. Supporting Ryder's Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical within the Supply Chain division. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead both the HR Business Partner team and on-site HR professionals, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning. This is a high-impact role that requires a forward-thinking leader who anticipates challenges, guides transformation, and ensures our people strategy accelerates business success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to align people strategies with supply chain business objectives.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team of HR Business Partners.
  • Anticipating workforce challenges and guiding leaders through complex organizational change.
  • Collaborating with the broader HRBP leadership team to modernize the HR Business Partner function.
  • Using people analytics to inform talent strategy, optimize workforce planning, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Shaping organizational structures and leadership pipelines.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with COEs to deliver integrated HR programs.

Experience required includes:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, including senior leadership roles supporting executive teams.
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, public companies, or high-growth environments is preferred but not required.

Skills include:

  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and organizational strategy.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in dynamic environments.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable impact.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 150,000

Maximum Pay Range: 180,000
