Position Description: Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit. Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project. Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

Education Requirements:

• Project Engineer II – Position typically requires a BS and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Engineer III – Position typically requires a BS and 8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Engineer IV – Position typically requires a BS and 12+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.
• Ability to work onsite.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements.
• Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active DOE Q clearance.

Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. Initial 2 year assignment. Looking for long-term commitment. Possibility of conversion. 4/10 schedule Shift work required. Per-Diem eligible. TA-55 – not all work will be behind the fence in secure areas.
