As a Lead Mobile Building Engineer, you'll keep buildings running and teams moving across multiple financial facilities in the Albuquerque area—ensuring systems stay reliable, safe, and efficient. From HVAC to electrical, you'll be the go-to expert keeping operations smooth and clients satisfied.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
- Estimate time and materials for work orders and support preventive maintenance planning to keep building systems running at peak performance—while staying ready to tackle repairs and emergencies as they arise.
- Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
- Coordinate compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
- Apply detailed understanding of standard principles and techniques/procedures to complete tasks and offer creative solutions.
- Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
- Model behaviors that are consistent with the company's RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Work within broad guidelines to influence customer, operational, and project outcomes across teams, while clearly presenting sensitive information to drive alignment and results.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
- Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
- Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and experience with work orders in a CMMS.
- Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
