The New Mexico VA Healthcare Network is recruiting for a Food Service Worker Leader assigned to the Nutrition and Food Services. Food Service Work Leaders have an understanding of special procedures in preparing food and serving patients, plus have the skill to lead and provide guidance to lower grade food service workers and/or have the skill to lead and provide guidance to production and food service staff in the absence of the Supervisor.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work Schedule: Shifts are variable to include weekends and holiday. Tours may include the following: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm or 11:00 am - 7:30 pm. (Tour will be determined by supervisor based on organizational needs). Compressed/Flexible Schedule: This position is not eligible for compress/flexible schedule.

Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior work experience or military service experience. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. Such credit must be requested and approved prior to the appointment date and is not guaranteed.
